Dr. Drucker received his M.D. degree from the University of Toronto in 1980. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dr. Drucker completed his clinical training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology in 1984 at the University of Toronto. 

Dr. Drucker received his FRCPC in Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1984 and his ABIM certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1984. 

Following completion of a research fellowship in Molecular Endocrinology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University from 1984-1987, Dr. Drucker returned to the Toronto General Hospital, University of Toronto in 1987 to take up an appointment as staff physician and Assistant Professor of Medicine.

Dr. Drucker is currently Professor of Medicine, a member of the Endocrinology Division at the University of Toronto and Director of the Banting and Best Diabetes Centre at the University of Toronto

Dr. Drucker’s clinical practice at Mount Sinai Hospital and Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network, is focused exclusively on diseases of the thyroid, with emphasis on thyroid cancer. More detailed information is available about Dr. Drucker's office
